Gareth Pinder : A real-life Inspiration!
Storytime! Years ago, Gareth Pinder, one of our directors at Parker & Co volunteered to donate his blood and bone marrow to those in need through a charity organisation and in August 2023, Gareth matched with a successful recipient just after completing another milestone for his Year of Pain , the IRONMAN 70.3 at Swansea.
Gareth completed the IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea which was a half-distance triathlon that set off with a 1.2-mile swim in the Prince of Wales Dock followed by 56 miles of cycling through Mumbles and Rural Swansea before running 13.1 miles through the city centre and back to the finish line at the Marina.
We are incredibly inspired by his journey as he is gearing up for his next ride with Ironman Weymouth 70.3 on September 17th.
Gareth’s Year of Pain is one that is stirred by purpose – to bring awareness and extend support to all families affected by cancer.
