Director

Gary Parker

Gary deals with all aspects of client relations at all levels. He is responsible for overseeing all accounts and tax returns prior to them being submitted to clients or the relevant authorities. In that way opportunities for tax planning etc are not missed. Gary also deals with the more complicated matters that arise during the life of a business or a client from plans for startups to succession, sale or just plain business survival!
Trainee Will Writer / Admin Assistant

Patricia Szczerba

Patricia’s main responsibility is Will writing and wealth management for Parker & Co. Wills Ltd, which includes services such as Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with Office of Public Guardian and Land Registry. Patricia deals with some book-keeping and VAT returns. Patricia also deals with our media and PR.
Payroll Manager

Maxine Griffiths

Maxine joined the practice in early 2021 as Payroll Manager, dealing with clients’ payroll, CIS, pensions, furlough claims and auto-enrolment. Maxine is part qualified. Maxine also has an extensive knowledge of accounts and book-keeping as well as payroll.
Trainee Accountant

Jonathan Parker

Jon joined Parker & Co. in 2021 as a Trainee Accountant. He is new to the accountancy industry and has thoroughly enjoyed exploring what it has to offer. Jon is dealing with book-keeping, VAT returns and offering support to the admin team, as and when needed.
Payroll Manager (Cwmbran Office)

Gloria Dodd

Gloria joined Griffiths & James in 2013, as a payroll officer and assisted with the preparation of accounts.
Since the merger with Parker & Co in July 2020, Gloria is now our Payroll Manager. 
Experience with the furlough claims, CIS, pensions and P11d’s.
Senior Accountant

Rebecca Webster

Rebecca originally joined the practice in 2010 as an administration assistant. She enjoyed the accountancy environment and soon began to train to be an accountant. In 2015, Rebecca successfully qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and is now a member of ACCA. Rebecca deals with all aspects of the personal and business tax affairs of her client portfolio which incorporate sole trader, partnership and corporate businesses. Rebecca is also responsible for managing all our Legal compliance matters. Rebecca achieved FCCA status in 2020 and will become a director in due course.
Administrator / PA to Director

Bethan Mullens

Bethan joined the practice in 2010 and has since developed a great knowledge of the company and all the clients. Bethan manages the administration team, is a Personal Assistant to Gary Parker and is responsible for administrating our Tax investigation insurance service. Bethan also offers support in day-to-day personal and business clients’ affairs.
Payroll and Admin Assistant

Cariad Lewis

Since joining us in early 2021, Cariad has been dealing with in-house HR policies, offering payroll support to our Cwmbran office and is a part of Parker & Co’s admin team. She has established herself as a strong member of the team.
Accountant (Cwmbran Office)

Gareth Pinder

Gareth Joined the practice in 2020 and deals with financial statement preparation, personal and business tax affairs and VAT. He has worked in Accountancy since 2013 qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2018. Gareth’s background is mainly audit working at both Big 4 and top 10 practices being part of and leading teams for large corporations across various industries such as solicitor firms, the motor vehicle industry and engineering industry. Following the merger of Parker & Co. Accountants and Griffiths & James in July 2020, Gareth is now responsible for running our Cwmbran office and will become a director in due course.
Trainee Accountant (Cwmbran Office)

Debbie Evans

Debbie joined our Cwmbran office in 2020. Debbie has been supporting the team with
book-keeping, VAT and preparation of accounts and self-assessments.
Debbie is also Xero Certified.
Senior Accountant

Adele Beckett

Adele joined the practice in 2020 and deals with personal and business tax affairs, VAT and preparation of accounts. Adele has worked in Accountancy since 2005. She was keen to stay in this industry and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2013. Adele achieved FCCA status in 2018. Adele also has experience with book-booking and is currently overlooking some of our clients’ portfolios in the same.
Trainee Accountant

Lucy Purnell

Lucy is currently studying the ACCA course at University of South Wales, with the ambition to become a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2023. Lucy has been aiding the team with tax submissions, VAT and preparation of accounts. Lucy continues to develop her client portfolio and has been highly successful in her exams. Lucy is also part of the administration team.
Finance & Compliance Officer

Liz Francis

Liz is responsible for dealing with our own accounts and finance. Liz is also our Health and Safety officer and documents in house policies and procedures.
Office Manager (Cwmbran Office)

Karen Tingey

Karen joined Griffiths & James in 2006, as Receptionist/Administrator and assisted with the preparation of accounts and payroll. Since the merger with Parker & Co in July 2020. Karen is now our Office Manager. Managing clients and the Office, supporting the team with book-keeping, VAT and account preparation. Karen is also Xero Certified.
Trainee Accountant (Cwmbran Office)

Georgia Turner

Georgia is our newest member to join the team at our Cwmbran office. She has previously worked in industry whilst studying for her ACCA certification. Georgia has been aiding the team with VAT and preparation of accounts and self-assessments. Georgia is also Xero Certified.
